The ARM models the services defined and classified in the DRM. It also identifies and categorizes applications and systems provided by the government. This facilitates identifying the current state of information systems and planning for the future. In addition, the ARM provides high-level software design guidelines.
Providing executive bureaus with reliable and practical guidelines for developing and deploying the enterprise architecture program is considered as the primary purpose of Iran Enterprise Architecture Framework.
